Spider-Man 50th Anniversary

Assalamualaikum / Peace be Upon You

This year, Spider-Man had reached his 50th anniversary. For 50 years the webslinger has spun his web throughout the entire globe. It was inside Marvel Comic Amazing Fantasy #15, which introduced the origin of one of the greatest comic book superheroes of the modern age and perhaps of all time, The Amazing Spider-Man

Spider-Man of course, went from that comic appearance in that anthology omnibus to his own comic series to become one of the most successful franchises in pop culture history, spawning countless merchandise and television and film spinoffs, the most current being the summer blockbuster The Amazing Spider-Man, which was in theaters and stars Andrew Garfield as the web slinging hero.

This is my most favorite Spider-Men for the last 50 years in the Marvel Comics.
Amazing Spider-Man: Peter Benjamin Parker from Earth-616 (Mainstream Timeline)

The most well-known Spider-Man. Bitten by an irradiated common house spider, Peter Parker were given a spider-like superpowers. After the death of his beloved Uncle Ben due to his own carelessness and mistake, Peter know that 'With great power comes great responsibility'. This phrase had been used so many times in his life either on himself or on other superheroes. His sense of justice and courageous act earned the respect of many other superheroes. Always the underdog, Peter is routinely out-manned and out-gunned, but still manages to throw in wise-cracks between punches, and usually comes out on top in the end.
Ultimate Spider-Man: Peter Parker from Earth-1610 (Ultimate Timeline)

The history is similar to the mainstream timeline except this version of Peter Parker is 15 years old. Similar to his mainstream counterpart, he lost his beloved Uncle Ben due to his own mistake and also learned the same thing that 'with great power comes great responsibility'. Unlike his mainstream counterpart, this version of Spider-Man had revealed his secret identity to the people that he had trusted. Unfortunately, he was killed during the battle with the Green Goblin of the Ultimate Timeline while trying to protect his loved ones. It was considered a major event in Marvel.
The Spider-Man (Spider-Man Noir): Peter Parker from Earth-90214 (Noir Timeline)

This Spider-Man is very different than the other Spider-Men. He is dark, brooding and has a general lack of quips and wise-cracks. His spider powers were given to him when a particular antique – a spider statue – breaks open and releases a horde of spiders and one of the spiders bites Peter, causing him to pass out and dream of a spider god. He uses his superpowers to infiltrate places stealthy and usually attacks from the dark. Unlike his mainstream and some other counterparts, he actually kills his enemies. Kinda a dark version of Spider-Man which is similar to Batman.
Spider-Man 2099: Miguel O'Hara from Earth-928 (2099 Timeline)

This version of Spider-Man comes from the future. He obtained his spider powers after his DNA was spliced with the genes of a spider during a lab accident. Miguel did met Peter Parker from the mainstream timeline during a time-traveling adventure where they fought the Hobgoblin of 2211. Like the other Spider-Men, he also upholds justice even though there are a lot of people opposing him.
Scarlet Spider: Ben Reily from Earth-616 (Mainstream Timeline)

He was one of the clones of Peter Parker that was created by The Jackal during the Clone Saga. As a clone of Spider-Man, the Scarlet Spider possessed the same powers he did. He dyes his hair Blond in order to lessen his resemblance to Peter Parker. Like his original self, Ben have a great sense of justice and righteousness. However, he soon met his demise when trying to safe the original Peter Parker's life. Peter stated that he viewed Ben as a brother that he never had.

Scarlet Spider: Kaine Parker from Earth-616 (Mainstream Timeline)

Kaine one of the clones of Peter Parker that was created by The Jackal during the Clone Saga but he was an imperfect one. As a clone of Spider-Man, he also possessed the same powers he did. Supposedly to be killed during the Grim Hunt saga, he was brought to life by the Jackal as the Tarantula. After Spider-Man threw him into a tank filled with Anti-Venom's cure, he became the perfect clone of Peter Parker. Later on he donned Spider-Man's Stealth Suit and became the new Scarlet Spider in Houston.
Ultimate Spider-Man: Miles Morales from Earth-1610 (Ultimate Timeline)

After the death of the original Spider-Man of the Ultimate Timeline, a new Spider-Man emerges and his name was Miles Morales. He had obtained his spider powers after he was bitten by a stolen Oz-enhanced spider. Miles later on was struck with grief over not being able to help Spider-Man before his untimely demise. He felt the original Spider-Man might still be alive that if he had done more with his powers. He also learned that 'with great power comes great responsibility'. Vowing to continue the original Spider-Man's legacy, he donned his very own version of Spider-Man costume to fight crime.
Spider-Man India: Paviitr Prabhakar from Earth-50101

Pavitr Prabhakar is a poor Indian boy that lives in a village and then moves to Mumbai with his Aunt Maya and Uncle Bhim to study after getting half a scholarship. He obtained his spider powers after he encountered an ancient yogi who gives him the power of a spider. Like his mainstream counterpart, he learned about great power comes great responsibility after he lost his Uncle Bhim due to his selfishness to help others using his powers. The story was short whereby he only fought against an alternate version of Green Goblin and Doctor Octopus.

The are actually a lot of Spider-Men in the Marvel Comics but these were the ones that I want to list down. If people were to ask me which ones are my favorites, it would be Amazing Spider-Man and The Spider-Man (Spider-Man Noir).
